This page explains how to delete your Snapdemy account and the data associated with it. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Snapdemy and go to Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Review what will be removed, then type DELETE to confirm.
- For your security, you may be asked to sign in again before the deletion completes.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes the account and the content associated with it, including:
- Your account and profile information.
- Worksheets and uploaded or captured study media.
- Study material generated from your content (flashcards, quizzes, summaries, infographics, and podcasts).
- Chat and tutor history.
- Age band and consent records associated with the account.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a Snapdemy Plus subscription. Subscriptions are billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and must be cancelled in your store account settings. Cancel your subscription before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
If you can't use the app
If you uninstalled the app or can't sign in, email us at [email protected] from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify the request and complete the deletion within the time required by applicable law.
Guests and no account
If you used Snapdemy as a guest (without signing in), there is no account to delete. Your content is tied to an anonymous installation ID on your device; clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app removes it, or you can email us to request deletion.
